Oh, neat, like, instead of DC 10, it’s a +/- against whatever the DM rolls?
That feels cool … the players still get to roll with chances of nat 1s and 20s, but less obvious what’s pass/fail

I really love this idea … finding a balance where the DM isn’t stealing dice rolls from players feels tricky, but it would definitely help with things like player 1 obviously fails, so player 2 decides they would also like to search the room

That 29/70 thing is a standard trick of the tests where the pieces that make the (serifs?) of the 2 and 9 are probably some shade of red/green so I don’t see those and instead lock on to the blue/pink/purple much faster
Part of the test is how fast you answer, and I immediately see 70, not 29

Dang, wrong one then. At some point I had one where the number would pop out to red/green colorblind, but would just look like a bunch of swirls to the avg person, and it was great to see them finally struggle with one

In case it’s useful, I think this is the image—ironically, hard to be sure, but if it doesn’t look like the number 70 to you, then I nailed it

The idea is SUPER cool, though. The first time seeing one of these where I could immediately see the number and everyone else had to struggle is a core memory, and I think I still have that image on a hard drive somewhere

I don’t really see it … could be a phone thing, could be I’m distracted by the larger dots. It’s _much_ easier to see when I shrink the image a whole lot
