the amount of relief I'm feeling after pulling the trigger on a new 10TB hard drive and finally having ample storage for a home network + proper backups makes me think I've just been coping this whole time. many personal files spread across multiple external drives does not a backup make.

it won't change much about my posting habits, but I'll be logging out of bsky for about a week. it's more about focus than mental health, and I'll be plenty reachable on Telegram/Discord~ (hopefully it'll encourage me to talk more on there anyway!)

can't believe I got asked to source keyboard switch lubricant for a truck's sunroof repair at work
(yes I know Krytox GPL-205 ≠ GPL-205g0 but it's still funny that I already have a 2oz jar of the latter at home)

after discovering that rolling around in fresh soil is apparently my cat's new favorite thing to do when we give him supervised outside time, he had his first bath in nearly four years...and he took it really well! no distressed cries, and he seemed to enjoy the warm water + plastic fishy toys~

so far I've got the highest score I've seen on that innocence test thing... if we've hung out a lot I doubt that would even be surprising to you, but I don't exactly share much online so I'm curious how I come off if we haven't interacted much

trying to raise money for a laptop and I'd like to find a decent, focused marketplace for some of the tech hoard; phones, laptops, PC parts and a few keyboards
it's mostly older gen stuff that would be very fairly priced, but I'm seeing way more eBay scam accounts lately so maybe not there :/
