Hopefully Hali comes back strong. The pacers run was as much about the bench as the starters, and the bench may be better.

If they had just used signal to share classified information with a reporter it would have been ok.

A24 is the counter argument. Movies were getting stale too and A24 has been doing an amazing job. If the big studios get boring, the market opens to small players that can sell their show to a bidder. The market has several players right now that could bid on a show.

Can't tell from the graph too well, but it doesn't appear the percentages have changed much.

Small business optimism is up though, basically since Trump was elected. Will be interesting to see if it falls off. But why is it up? My guess would be Dems are captured by big business and nimby regulations.

Could you start offering a government led plan similar to Google releasing the pixel but still having other companies in with unique plans? Isn't this what Medicare advantage opened the other way?

Maybe I'll get down to other posts you've made tonight (merry Xmas), but what are some baby steps?

The question is why does it lose money? Google says it's because they prefund retirement healthcare accounts. Imagine if we started prefunding Medicare. It would bankrupt the government.

We need a moonshot for how to lower building costs. A large chunk will be lowering regulations that many times do good but also support NIMBYs. Others would be to encourage some building modernization efforts. Would think Republicans would want to be all over that.

What do you think about Purdue's efforts to bring down the cost of higher learning? I don't see enough reporting on how they have been able to keep tuition from rising without affecting their rankings for education.
