Eventually, this type of conduct will come back and haunt Meta. Users will ignore all ads thinking they are a scam. Legitimate ad people will find it is not worth the time or money to advertise on Meta platforms.

Unaware, my understanding was it was part of Catholic theology. I stand corrected. Though a privilege bestowed by the state. I thought it arose from the fight between secular power (European Kings and the pope).

And sanctuary is not amnesty. It is protection from secular authorities.
