I think it’s sometimes nice to have a pint of it but for the reasons I explain later in my thread

With a little more confidence I'll hopefully migrate from phone to camera, I just love the convenience of the phone as it means you don't need to carry lots of bulky kit with you.

Can't decide if I'd prefer to use the upside down or the melting face emoji. Putting in a request for an upside down melting face.

Sometimes I like to drink a pint of Guinness, it is known. But I call it "brain off" beer for a reason. You do not require one to enjoy it. In fact, I find it becomes less enjoyable if you engage it.

In Stockport! It ran out last night though.

Theakston do make very good beer!

Aren't you a bit bored of Guinness? Are you capable of admitting that Murphy's and Beamish aren't, actually, that good? You like supporting independent food venues but when it comes to stout you're happy to suck at the corporate teat? It's all getting a bit cringe, isn't it.

Like, I've written about it in my little book, which is where I keep the good beers.

The only pint I had is the one you see at the end of the video and I wish I had time for more too, but I had to go and visit several pubs to finish my book and lots of 6.5% beer didn't seem like a good idea!

Cool. Much like I respect the intellectual property of fellow creatives and the planet we live on WRT the environmental cost of the data centre that powers this tech.

Clearly you don't speak to enough people in the creative sector 😅

I use transcription software and subtitle generators but these tools both existed before they started to be labelled as “ai”. I have never knowingly used a LLM. Not even once.

Depending on the system GenAI uses between 10 and 100 times the power and water of regular computing, but with an average of 33x more, so a thimbleful. GenAI also has a total carbon footprint the size of New York City per year.

Also just FYI our subscribers have access to all three parts already because without them content like this simply wouldn't exist.
