I just think we can accept that human sexuality is complicated and difficult to delineate, while also accepting that cladistics (also complicated and hard to delineate) is constructed on pretty solid ground.

Does anyone pay for this? For me there’s been a perfect correlation between having a more comfortable seat and being in an early boarding group. In that case I’m happy to board ASAP because my seat on the plane is comfier than my seat off the plane.

Yes. This is very basic. Pretty clear by now that fascists will use democratic means to subvert democracy, until they have the power to do things in the way that they prefer.

Don’t see how that’s abandoning liberalism. Liberalism doesn’t mean you don’t hit back. The whole point is that if you get liberals angry enough, we will fight to defend it.

No, my claim is that the means were not democratic. Using violence to consolidate power, even if you won an election, is not democratic. And the violence is necessary because what you plan to do isn’t what people voted for.
