Older, wiser, joyful but appalled by our self-inflicted political illness. I've lived in Oz, Chile, Indiana, rural NY, agriculture,
government and academia. Still believing the arc of history will bend toward justice. Wishing I had done, could do more.
We'll take every small victory!
I am pleased to announce another no-talent year!

I understand the selfish ideology of privilege, but I cannot fathom the profound, enduring hatred Republicans carry in their old white bones for publicly funded health insurance of any kind.

Republicans Will Never Find a Health Care Replacement - The American Prospect
The GOP is too wedded to free markets and scornful of the welfare state to ever make anything in health care work.

When a politician says: we’ll deregulate health insurance and send you a “freedom account” check, ask: freedom to buy what? If insurers don’t offer real policies or can cherry-pick only healthy people, that money is a coupon for a store that’s not open.

There is no sane reason for the court to take the Incompetent Sociopathic Felon's hateful, ridiculous petition up.
Roberts’s Supreme Court is a representation of Authoritarianism … Look at the cases they’ve fast tracked for the regime and, against the Rule of Law. If the picture is not clear yet,
Coming up next, The Constitution??!!
It starts with knowing the truth. Don’t allow yourselves to be gaslit into believing this is a real question.

In 2024, the Coast Guard conducted more than 250 targeted interceptions in the Caribbean of boats believed to be transporting drugs based on intel. Only 55 were actually transporting drugs; the rest (80%) were innocent.

Trump's policy is to kill them all, including the 80% who are innocent.
