I used one of those early one morning while helping build a house. In northern Oregon, where the soil is famously mostly clay. In near-freezing weather.
I never want to look at a manual posthole digger again.

I actually thought nationwide gay marriage was toast. No dissents is crazy, why weren't Alito and Thomas chomping at the bit to quash it?

They copied other people's stuff without permission. Not took. That's why copyright infringement is not theft, because theft is an act of deprivation and infringement isn't.
Theft is a legal term and copyright infringement is not theft as a matter of law, therefore "infringement is theft" is a lie.

There is no way you can have communism without charts, my guy. To centrally plan the economy you've got to have mountains of data about it

Dealing Gardner was idiotic. You offload expensive veterans at the trade deadline tankapalooza fire sale, not elite talent on a freaking rookie contract. Those guys are the cornerstones of your rebuild!

Mildly interesting how it used the European notation of a comma instead of a period for the decimal point

Cthulhu explicitly sinks back into Ry'leh to sleep again after getting domed by the Alert. Post a submarine by the spot he went down and they don't even need to directly view him and go nuts before they blast him back into the depths. Cthulhu is a solved problem.

The Pew article gives a 50% rate of 18-44s who have married in their lifetime, so if that's correct it's still heavily skewed by the oldest generations (and keep in mind that it dates to 2019, the number has likely dropped if it continued on trend)

No idea where you got three-quarters. Closer to 50% of people are married and those numbers are skewed heavily by Boomers and Gen X www.pewresearch.org/social-trend...

Ramming is a pretty desperate hail Mary as far as maritime combat strategy goes. If he gets rocked by a boat's prow for a second then imagine how bad Cthulhu does against modern torpedoes and depth charges

The First Amendment and its postwar jurisprudence are, straight-up, the best for freedom of speech in the history of the world and you wish you had it, wherever you are. I will not be shamed for treating it as paramount. I am an American exceptionalist on this one thing.
