Le départ précipité de Sébastien Lecornu est la conséquence prévisible du refus de la part du Président de la République de prendre en compte les résultats des élections législatives qu’il avait lui-même convoquées l’été dernier.

Jusqu’au bout, le camp présidentiel aura voulu s’appuyer sur une alliance bancale et minoritaire avec LR plutôt que d’ouvrir des discussions sérieuses avec le socle du NFP pourtant arrivé en tête aux dernières élections législatives.

Retranché à l’Elysée, déjugé par son propre camp, Emmanuel Macron est seul face à la crise qu’il a créée et entretenue par une obstruction systématique à la logique d’alternance.

Nous l’avons dit : nous, la gauche et les écologistes, nous tenons prêt·es à conduire un gouvernement dans ce contexte difficile. Car les Françaises et les Français ont plus que jamais besoin de politiques publiques qui les protègent : abrogation de la réforme des retraites, mesures d’urgence pour le pouvoir d’achat et les services publics, politique environnementale à la mesure du péril climatique et de l’effondrement de la biodiversité.

Nous appelons solennellement, une dernière fois, Emmanuel Macron à se conformer aux résultats des élections et à nommer à Matignon un·e Premier·e ministre de gauche et écologiste.

Si, une nouvelle fois, le président venait à refuser le résultat des urnes, il devra partir.

I realize the world is burning, but here is the abstract of a talk I will give multiple times in different formats this month. With the feedback, I hope to write up something substantial on the theme in the remainder of the year.

Statistical algorithms have advanced rapidly in the last
decades, but most researchers are still only taught how to do t-tests
and worry about normality of residuals. At the heart of the
reproducibility crisis lies scientific workflow, the often
unprincipled and undocumented ways that scientific theories are
related to statistical procedures and their results. I want to center
scientific workflow in debates about open science and outline a
research program for taking scientific workflow seriously.
