here’s the thing though. if my professor didn’t people asking questions about the validity of other people’s arguments, she wouldn’t have included that question requirement, so honestly it’s kinda her own fault that i spent more time researching the perfect response than my own entire speech

this time around, it’s an online public speaking class (lol), with a persuasive essay assignment where we also had to critique another person’s speech and ask a question related to their topic, and because of course, someone chose medical care for trans kids

god bless high school teachers and anyone willing to subject themselves to teenagers regularly
