I so agree I wish Vaan had a little more screentime but the scenes between him and Basch have been real nice of like "Listen, your Cause is just, but you will need to understand exactly what you're fighting for and what you are up against because the world isn't cut and dry"

I think I'm like contextualizing the party where like, at the end of the day not Vaan, Balthier, Basch, nor Asche are the main characters. Dalmasca ITSELF is the main character, and the party is the machination for it to struggle for independence, with all their individual reasons to fight for it
