So you think that human smuggling ought to result in everyone on a boat dying about 1100 nautical miles from Miami? If you knew the region the way I do, you’d see that this boat easily could have been a water taxi in that part of the world. But now everyone has been murdered. Don’t defend them.

I lived the the Caribbean, sailed the Caribbean, & I know quite a bit about how to spot & avoid drug boats in that region of the world. That boat with 11 people was not likely a drug boat. But more importantly the Navy blew all evidence that might support their claim to smithereens & sank it all.

FWIW not everyone who has ever received a presidential pardon has been a terrible threat to society the way that the majority of Trump’s pardon recipients have. More than 1,000 violent criminals have gotten DJT pardons. It’s a profound distinction w/ a difference in the Trump Republican era, imo.

The Secretary of “War” and that shameful admiral ordered that all evidence & witnesses on the vessel be blown to bits. They have ZERO evidence that it was a drug boat because they made sure that every shred of evidence was sunk to the bottom of the Caribbean Sea.

Please include the fact that that boat was approx 1100 nautical miles from Miami. There were no munitions on the boat. It was a traditional Trini boat design & probably wooden not a go fast drug boat. Blowing the boat & people to smithereens isn’t a legit response. It was murder. We aren’t at war.
