I kinda cheated. I sweetened the cheesecake with All-Hallows-Eve pepper jam and a little confectioner's sugar and the topping is Blackberry/Jalapeno jam, both made by the same streamer, from their Etsy. They are both really good and the idea hit me to try them in cheesecake. I don't know why, lol

also, these are the cheesecakes experiment. They turned out way better than I expected. It's All-hallows-eve pepper cheesecake on gingersnap crust (like graham cracker crust) with blackberry/jalapeno jam on top. Not spicy in the least. I was afraid the weird combo might not work but it does.

This is the pumpkin butter. It looks thick and dry but it's really very moist and spreadable. I used half the sugar the recipe called for with a tiny bit of stevia. Tastes delicious and not overly sweet. A cooking streamer posted it on her youtube if you want to try it. Doing the cheesecakes next.

I'm into all those things myself. Spent the better part of this afternoon cooking and baking. Tomorrow I plan to try a pumpkin butter recipe and some experimental single-serve cheesecakes. I'm always reading too, a serious book nerd. I have favorites but I like almost all genres of music.
