An AppSpy article that uses my name when referring to LocalThunk. It reads:

Creator LocalThunk recently confirmed that the update has been delayed until 2026. While the post stated that Dan Dilorio felt bad for breaking his promise, he said admitted he shouldn't have even announced a date for Update 1.1 to begin with, adding that he's "slow."

Dilorio explained that he started off developing the game as a hobby and has been struggling with the pressure and timeline of being a professional developer. He expressed that he was "truly burnt out" in late 2024 after the mobile version (us, woops) came out.

After a break for a few months, Dilorio got back to work. He said: "It turns out that it’s a lot slower than working in crunch mode 12 hours per day like I was around launch."

As a tinkerer and creative guy, Dilorio is going to be working slower...

I can't get enough of watching Mrs. Fruit eat her fruits. There's something so satisfying yet so utterly obscene about waiting patiently for a full minute as the board fills and empties and fills and empties with fruit after fruit as she chows down. Recently I decided to try and see how far I could push it, first trying to get to 1,000 then 10,000. Now I might even go for a 100,000. The last digit gets cut off by the row to the right, what would happen if there was another digit?? I'm afraid to find out, yet I can't stop. My entire deck is built around keeping her fed. It's all for you, Mrs. Fruit....

To the Japanese twitter user who was wondering if chili peppers are in Luck be a Landlord because they're good luck charms overseas, that's not the case.

It's because I was watching someone play Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga (where peppers are items) while making Luck be a Landlord's items in 2020.
