Who's running against Connolly for SD-2 in 2026? (And who's running for his current seat?) I'm done being represented by a NIMBY who thinks that more lanes = less pollution and who ignores the anxiety non-drivers feel because of all the additional pollution he enables

All hail the cross-platform transfer

If we're really open to spending $11B to elevate transportation infrastructure susceptible to sea level rise, can I interest Caltrans in 8 more miles of SMART?

If you need small Cubs infielders, AL West third basemen, or journeyman middle relievers, I remember some guys

Instead of the RFK deal (and whatever this is) just use the Commanders' branding

All this is going to change soon though, thanks to MASCOTS (Marin Sonoma Coordinated Transit Service Plan). Love the acronym, dread the resulting service. Made a map for that, too, because GGT hasn't done one themselves.

Been here 4 months, high time to make a map. The Golden Gate Bridge is great... @goldengate.org Transit, less so. Still, fun to play around with an isometric design and be artsy with the bridge and the Ferry Building.

Another one! The weird thing is they have real photos interspersed (of the Painted Ladies, etc) and then this absolute dreck next to it.

AI slop IRL! Rather than pay for a picture of Lombard St, the Marriott Marquis in SF printed a wall-sized sloppified poster

Suddenly a lot of my work is in the PNW. Spent time last month in Seattle, just need to time my trips to see an Ms game. I have *thoughts* about the track layout at King St, but I'm a sucker for a good brick clock tower, so here's another one for the collection

Marin transportation brain: let's build a bike lane on a 1500' stretch of a busy street between a middle school and a high school, and then make sure no kids can use it, only weekend lycra enthusiasts

What about this? 44/Perry -- they took the median pylons down to plow(?) 2 weeks ago and haven't put them back up. I guess neighborhood bikeways are only real during the summer 🤔

Instead of a new walkable community (with a park!) near frequent transit, the developer gets free reign to add to Denver's sprawl. Great job, everyone

The Broncos *hate* this one weird trick for traveling 600 miles through inclement weather

3️⃣, but given Chicago's traditional demographics, I'd suggest using Polish instead of German (long live the CST!)

Never too early for a timeline cleanse. I'm taking it as a sign that Myki's left ear leans forward while his right ear legs behind.

Bear: hi, I'm looking to buy a tree I can scratch my back against?

Bear Activity Store worker: we got you, friend

Bear: cool. I'd also like to find some picnic baskets too practice stealing, do you know where I could get some?

Worker: you're not gonna believe this

Me: can we see the Aurora tonight in Denver? Mom: we have aurora at home!

I took almost the same photo in 2017. These things can happen incrementally -- just removing cars, adding a couple potted trees and some bike racks already made a big improvement back then
