It is to the dog's credit I suppose that, judging by her wagging tail, she does not well judge the risk between "this thing might be friendly and playful" and "if it is not, and feels threatened, it could probably remove a leg."

So for a couple years now we've had this. She comes if my wife is working downstairs and raps on the flagstones; my wife goes over and she flies a few feet away until my wife drops a peanut and closes up the door. It's quite odd.

But you can see the highly weird bokeh, which I know a lot of people hate but I kind of dig, sometimes. Plus the huge upside is, here's the lens. One of the cheapest and most lightweight I own.

Here's an old image, plus a couple I grabbed today returning home. The lens is soft but here the poor skills of the photographer have more effect, and this carpenter will blame tools too: I have no IBIS and used no tripod since these were rush jobs.
