I have heard this argument but I think there are more significant ways it endangers us. When Gallagher was pardoned, an Army psychologist pointed out to me that the real reason DOD has psychologists is, every murderous psychopath in America wants to be in uniform and part of her job was to keep them

Sort of a more exaggerated case of the same phenomenon, sometimes -- although "Europe Central" is somehow both long and readable - but wow "Dying Grass" is so dense that if I parted with it for a day I was lost, and man it is a hard slog sometimes
