Let’s be clear. Israel doesn’t abide by international law and only exists due to vast US military aid. The idea that Israel’s mostly illegal diamond and arms trade would fund its defence is clearly a joke.

Coalition governments would be such a blessing for the UK. Partners can blame each other for unpopular but necessary policy decisions. How refreshing, compared to the utterly risk-averse Starmer lot who seem controlled by tabloid headlines.

Yes, he will. A PM for a minority government that won’t last a week. VVD previously supported a far-right government that was utterly incompetent. They now behave as if they won the elections, instead of being punished by voters. I would have preferred D66, CDA and GroenLinks/PvdA, but here we are.
