Well deserved! Like the Donkey Kong IP itself, I'm sure DK Vine/the Kongversation will continue to grow throughout the Switch 2'a life. Super excited to see where you (and DK) go next! I'll continue to happily listen ^-^ I love you and the show, Hyle <3

Glad these are out now, but I'm sure the delay in these certainly didn't help what I'm guessing are smaller sales for the game. Have to wonder how well Replaylee and Playtonic themselves are doing.

I have a soft spot for Barrel Blast. ...even if I sold it off as a kid because Mario Kart Wii was far better to me. (I'm sorry, Hyle.)

My new thinking is that we'll get statues for a year or so. Splatoon/Animal Crossing get ongoing content (as will Mario Kart, I'm sure), so these statues to give Bananza/DK fans consistent dosages of fanservice seems like a smart way to keep retention! I'm sure you'll discuss it more on the episode

See, my baseline assumption was that every remaining Layer would get a wave before the new statues end, but given we *still* haven't gotten to Zebra, maybe it'll go longer than I thought? I assumed there'd be one more DK Island wave to mark the end

Nintendo spent thousands of dollars in order to get K. Rool's jiggle physics just right, and I'd say that was money *well* spent. You can feel the love from Nintendo. He's in good hands.

My DS and Wii era bias (where I was introduced to DK through Mario before Returns and Jungle Climber) may come into play here, but I am *personally* fine with it. Rare already showed there were multiple of the same species, so as long as Nintendo has a *the* Rambi and a *the* Squawks, I don't mind.

I think it's the funniest Paper Mario game and probably one of the funniest games in general! I also love the game's music and artstyle. I, too, am really sad it'll likely stay on the Wii U in perpetuity.

My man🤝 I think it'd be cool to have a character have a legitimate pairing with an animal buddy (sort of like your K. Rool and Screech headcanon). And, with Tawks actually being a speaking animal, it will prevent posh Rambi for a few more years😉
