I’ve had to cancel our Christmas celebration. We have both been sick for a month. With stabbing coughs. Vomiting ,diarrhoea, vertigo. Apparently flu is taking over 35% of Canadian homes. We’ve had all our shots. But I have no idea what we have.

On the fourth day before Christmas, I’m beginning to feel human again. The wracking cough, death rattle breathing of the past five days have been wretched. I dion’t know if it was flu or croup. But today, still coughing but under control not fighting for air and the Christmas tree is decorated. 🌲🎄

Sometimes life helps you with your Christmas shopping. My husband and I were so concerned about family gifts we had nothing for each other. Yesterday the dryer broke down. Problem solved. 16 years was a good life for a Samsung.

The difference between the US and Canada is that Trumps Big Beautiful Bill is seen as cataclysmic for average citizens. While Carney’s Omnibus Bill with many of the same cuts offers hope. The difference is Trump is a narcissistic vengeful Troll and Carney is a globally trusted banker.It’s a toss up

Skilled trades require annual 4~6 wk apprenticeship courses, often far from home to upgrade specialized skills. The program is well funded in terms of tuition, and a training allowance but rural workers need to live away from home, Who looks after the kids and home on evenings and weekends?
