I just feel like punishing someone for preventing a goal scoring opportunity when a goal is scored is something of a logical fallacy.

How on earth do you send off a player for preventing a goalscoring opportunity when a shot by a player not involved in the incident has scored the goal? Utter farce.

The Epstein files aren't just a terrible insight into the way money and power corrupt, but also how awful revelations fail to manifest in change. Not a single thing will be different as a consequence of these truths, and that, I think, is the most damnable thing about it all.

It'd be nice if Hannan ever faced any consequences for being consistently wrong about everything for two decades but here we are. Jobs for the boys.

So you don't agree with the ever reliable Peter Bradshaw's one star review?

It doesn't matter. This is a resource grab in a might is right world. Why are you still pretending niceties like "international law" are a thing?

It's deliberate rather than ironic and they're using it to laugh at us. Like, no-one even mentions it any more. It's less overt than calling Palantir "We're In Charge Now You Plebeian Fucks So Just Fucking Watch It Inc." but the implication is clear.

Brave defeat against Brazil. Point against Morocco. It's just a win against Haiti to put you through, right?

The worst thing that ever happened is all of us getting exactly what we thought we wanted all of the time.

I've always believed that politicians in the top jobs would have to have some level of intelligence to get there. Not necessarily book smarts, maybe weasel smarts, social smarts, venal smarts or whatever. Badenoch is the first one I've seen who seems genuinely, breathtakingly dim.

There’s nobody in iran or china or north korea who intends more harm for the people who live in america than the people ruling america do. This is the stupidest most vapid most casually bloodthirsty clique of elites to ever exist and the world will be better for its demise

One thing they might be underestimating is how the dark mob of lunatics radicalised by mild covid restrictions will react. Given the crossover with the far right forces the government seems so desperate to appease, it could be an interesting sell.

Look, can Elon just have one child he doesn't end up disowning?

Might genuinely be one of the best free kicks I've ever seen.

Struggle with bystanders who tolerate this behaviour, tbh.

Someone's messed up. You're only supposed to see that AFTER you put the sunglasses on.

It's what the X-Files reboot got wrong for me. Mulder should've been a broken man in a bedsit yelling at a world that didn't really care about the truth after all, thankyouverymuch.

The weird thing is maybe there is an appetite for radicalism, just not in the way they expect. I mean 532 people were prepared to be arrested at the Palestine Action protests. It's not nothing.

Our plugs are flat out the greatest in the world. The absolute 🐐. One of the top five things about this woebegotten nation.

Funnily enough, there were some workmen inside a couple of days ago. Wonder if it's connected?

The problem is there's absolutely no-one else. Boris 2 - The Johnsoning? That arsewipe who goes round painting over children's murals? She is the bottom of he barrel. Anyone else, the barrel explodes and the voters are everywhere.
