"Your ethnocentric worldview didn't recognize transgender people until recently". Multiple cultures in many parts of the world had recognition for this demographic for thousands of years.

English for average joe: studies based on population sizes over long time-spans gives best information for accurate genetic diversity, but it's uncommon to see this type of study for most species. Ie: genetic studies in nonprimate critters are probably limited due to niche study areas and/or funding

I am not saying there are direct parallels with children. I'm saying if we open the door to a tax credit, they are going to open the door wider to find ways to get it all back with interest, fees, and further taxes.
