Just got new seeds for the spring. Includes ground cherries (sweet fruit related to tomatoes), a watermelon that turns orange when ripe (pumpkin rind style melon), a smaller luffa-gourd variety and some "blue" pumpkins and Hubbard squash. (And yes, they're real, from baker creek).

My great grandfather who worked 10 years each with railroad and electric company, pensions from both plus ss retirement. Retired at 60, 3 houses, 6 kids. And his wife never worked outside the home. How many of us will come close?

While looking for a recipe to use up leftover heavy cream, I accidentally stumbled on an AMAZING recipe for white bread in the bread machine that is very close to brioche. May have made 3 loves in last 2 days. Can't confirm.

As with most problems shared by men and women, when a woman suffers, it's her fault, when a man suffers, it's everyone's fault except his. I won't deny there are societal issues that help isolate men, but they don't affect men without affecting all.
I think it’s also true that loneliness among women has historically been treated as an individual problem, while loneliness among men is treated as a societal problem. That, in turn, comes from an assumption that women are supposed to earn the company of others while men are entitled to it.
