Hot take, I believe that accurate swordplay can be incredibly flashy and interesting, if we write it properly. Sure, jumps, spins, reverse grip and all that is cool, but is it practical?

Challenge for my fight scene friends: Write a historically accurate sword bout that is also interesting.
