best I can do is the chili crisp fried eggs I made yesterday
some wok-fried eggs with chili crisp and soy sauce on them. the edges are crispy and browned, but the yolks and some of the whites are super runny. they're on top of a couple pieces of toast. the toast has been closed around the eggs, forming a delicious sandwich. yolk is running down the sides.

update: my legs are still absolutely fuckin' smooth!

I committed a food crime tonight and added cheeseballs to a bowl of ramen with A5 wagyu in it

it was perfect
the unadulterated bowl of fancypants ramen, with A5 wagyu and various other ingredients that one needs a monocle to view properly the same bowl of ramen with a couple handfuls of dayglow orange cheeseballs on top. they will soon melt into the broth, turning an already pungent broth evocative of French onion soup into something even more decadent. at this point the owner has come up to me to voice his disapproval. the empty bowls from tonight catgirl yes sickos meme

we went to a thing with lobster last night and brought leftovers home, so I had the most decadent breakfast ever
leftover lobster from a buttery lobster roll, sauteed in butter with some onion, on top of ultra-creamy slow-scrambled eggs, on a cheddar biscuit that I went a little too hard on in the broiler. there's an entire claw peeking out of the biscuit.

so uh, I've got bad news for you
I have no idea what the context of this is - I was just looking for a grab from a manga/anime with someone looming behind someone else with dramatic 「ゴゴゴゴ」 ("gogogogo") text behind it. which is what's happening here. there's a girl looking out from a doorway, and another girl, wide-eyed, with ghastly purple flames around her looming behind her. the internet tells me it's from "komi can't communicate".

12. Quantum Break

I'm a sucker for time travel, and Remedy puts out fantastic story-driven games. I really appreciate the gameplay mechanics, the (somewhat) branching storyline, and how I really didn't know what was going to happen until the end.

Also it beat Tenet to the punch.

11. Mirror's Edge

This was such a gorgeous, bizarre game. The art style was so bright, smooth, and colorful. The maddeningly involved controls eventually nudge you into a flow state. The soundtrack was floaty and driving. Such a pretty game about a dystopian nightmare. About refusing to lose hope.
