I should note that I'm currently reading Karen Armstrong's A History of God and i don't feel like i had a good enough background. Fun to run into Ye Olde Gods though.

New Revised Standard Version, Catholic edition is what i nabbed. I think mom has a NKJV, but i didn't look because i didn't want the standard mom response: "we have bible at home." I just wanted something of my own i could write in.
