The Dusk Atelier games are fascinating to me combat wise because they have me googling how to handle bosses and improve weapons and its not something I ever needed to do in the Arland games or most JRPGs in general really.
These games are challenging and really push you with its bosses!

The Dusk Atelier games are fascinating to me combat wise because they have me googling how to handle bosses and improve weapons and its not something I ever needed to do in the Arland games or most JRPGs in general really.

Despite my fun I might take a short break from the series once I finish Escha & Logy so I don't burn myself out doing these games back to back.

I'm pretty close to beating Escha & Logy and overall I'd say it's a mechanical and graphical improvement but isn't as strong on the story front as Ayesha. Working towards exploring the unexplored ruins wasn't as meaningful as working to save my sister.

The more I play Escha & Logy the less excited I am about it. Yes it is an upgrade in several ways over Ayesha, but its lacking a definitive goal. In Ayesha, the plot had me working to rescue my missing sister right from the start. Escha & Logy its more like I'm just a government worker doing jobs
