Incredibly moving interview with Sydney philosophy professor Peter Slezak, son of Holocaust survivors.

“Recognising Palestine was the right thing to do - in fact it was long overdue. How on earth can that be connected to two mass murders who commit an atrocity?”

Let it only not end because all the Palestinians are *dead*. Heaven knows, Netty and his lot are trying hard enough.

While our MSM seem to have sidelined Gaza's suffering, these folks haven't.

Just squelched out to the rain gauge: 20 ml! Dang! And there were even puddles for a bit. (Cat is out from under the bed, so I guess it's all passed off.)

I'm a bit believer in treating fraud like fraud. If someone submits *anything*, *anywhere* and it contains stuff that's fabricated, you should treat it the same whether they sat down and consciously made up lies with their own keyboard or if they outsourced it to a text generation program

Bit of thunder; my poor catto is rigid with fear. Under the bed, poor creature. It's started raining, so hopefully he'll feel better soon.

This is a good resource. You'll need to move the map to your location, but if you're keeping cookies in your browser, it will know the next time you open it. Has fire authority info, aircraft, wind, all sorts. Not the fastest, but can't have it all!

Seems to me (listening blissfully in nice cool house) that so long as Classic Radio Ukraine is online, playing the Ukrainian Anthem every now and then, and having a memorial for the fallen each day, Putin is losing.

Worth bookmarking even if you don't live in NSW, more states' data are coming.
Every wondered how many guns are in your suburb? We have built a tool that shows registered firearms by postcode across NSW.

Having access to data can help us all understand how our gun laws are actually working (or failing to work!)

Thread.
1. This short thread is about what I see as a serious breach of journalistic ethics, in the making of Sofia Pineda Ochoa’s online documentary Greenwashed. She interviewed me for the film, but neither before, during or after was I given any idea I would be its target. www.youtube.com/watch?v=XjWU...
