“Just be more creative” is all over my timeline. I guess I’m not sure what that looks like, specially when you have to be aware of Halland. So weird that the season is all doom and gloom already. Hopefully we can find some of the joy back (Liverpool dropping points would help).

Just seen the Slot post match interview and it is so refreshing to hear common sense and honesty. Obviously a brilliant manager but also seems like a quality human being.
Shame the analysis of this game is the way it is because there’s a really interesting tactical battle in it.

Probably the two best teams went head to head. It was a tough match, moment of brilliance decided it. I don’t really think it’s fair to say Arsenal should’ve been braver. Take the free kick away and you’d say Liverpool created very little at home.

I got sleep here in Australia to the worrying Havertz injury news. Wake up and we’re gunna sign Eze? Crazy stuff. I honestly can’t quite believe it

Believe it or not, Arsenal will continue to exist after this season. The LW market just isn’t that good right now. New Trossard contract keeps the harmony in the squad. Maybe in 12 months there are much better LW options and doing this means we haven’t committed to a new player we don’t love

Before the game Arteta said this was our chance to make a statement. That performance was very worrying. I’m sure he won’t be happy. Fair play to United, I thought their shape was really good and cause us issues. 3 points and that’s one of the draws from last season turned into a win.

I hope this can be an enjoyable season. I already feel the dread of the discussion if Arsenal don’t win tonight. I don’t know if we’re gunna win the league, but I hope no matter what, there’s less hate filled discourse. I love my football club, it’s not perfect but I hope I can enjoy the season

Transfer season really is something. Got bummed about the Eze to Spurs links. Woke up this morning and tried to figure out why I feel that way. The constant news cycle has really re-wired our brains in regards to transfers.
Let’s see what happens on the pitch, I’m hopeful of an enjoyable season

The real question that needs answering about Arsenal. Why do our left footed players sign with their right hand? Is it just for the photo?! Are they all just randomly right handed but left footed? I need answers

I do not want to hear “the club had their hands tied legally” regarding this.
Sometimes doing the right thing is not easy, but you have to do it.
As a global organisation, it is your duty to find a solution that reflects the value you supposedly stand for. Arsenal need to be held accountable

The next time Arsenal release a piece of merchandise I want, I'm going to donate what I would have spent to a charity that assists victims of sexual assault.

I'd encourage you to do the same. It's a small gesture but we need to make our point somehow.
Arsenal deserve to wear the shame from how they handled Thomas Partey for a long time.

As supporters, we should be (and people are) demanding an explanation from the club.

There is so much work that Arsenal need to do going forward to begin to put this right and ensure it doesn't happen again.

I hope the women involved get the justice they deserve and the support they require.
For 15 years I’ve been proud to support Arsenal.
Today, I am ashamed.
The club have broken the values they stand for. Someone needs to answer for this.

This football club is something else. Can’t believe they did it. Arsenal are Champions League Winners. Special shout out to the Aussie - Steph Catley, Caitlin Ford and Kyra Cooney-Cross. You bloody legends. 🥲

Brilliant first 30 minutes from The Arsenal. Barca showed why they’re the best team in the world in that last 15 minutes. Williamson and Ford been fantastic.
Anything can happen in this second half, gotta believe! GOYG!!!

Social media really is poison. It hurts to say, but congrats to Spurs. No need to de-value anyone’s happiness. Football is about joyous moments, whether is a trophy, win over your rivals or just a beautiful goal - let’s just let each enjoy it without needing to quantify it.

Also I think this game clearly highlights that there’s physical fatigue and mental fatigue. Players like Rice were spent physically. Players like Raya mentally fatigued (still showed his quality)
Not a surprise that our best players, Kiwior, MLS and Trossard, haven’t been overplayed this season.

Newcastle game was really interesting . In the first half they really had us figured out, all our forwards wanted to cut inside and when they did had a sea of Newcastle players. Not sure what we did in the second half to change that, but not a coincidence the goal comes from MO8 right footed cross.

I wish Mikel Arteta was more fairly portrayed in the media. Showing up to the @arseblog.com and @arsenalvpodcast.bsky.social event unprompted shows his class. A lot of people that hate him, do so because of the media coverage. A genuinely good person. Proud he’s the manager of Arsenal Football Club

Football discourse with fans of other clubs, for the most part, is at all time low. Can’t have football conversations without being trolled or told to “cry more”. Fans (Arsenal included) can’t admit their club has done anything wrong. Wish we could all just move past this rage bait era

When Mikel was captain I tweeted him, Per, and a handful of other players asking if they'd be kind enough to retweet my gofundme for a new wheelchair. Instead Mikel jumped on there and contributed enough for me to buy it. I cried that night. Last night I cried with joy at what he's done for my club.
