He/Him, Sydney, music, footy, bad jokes.
Largely here for the album brackets.
I'll tell you what, this open discussion of rates has been really good for my wife understanding why I constantly spend my money on records (hehe) or will go and buy a bunch of songs on Bandcamp- she always had a bunch that it meant a lot, but now there's data, and she gets it entirely.

That minimum payout floor getting announced was what made me change my family to tidal, which I was already considering due to the myriad of other reasons Spotify sucked. It's gross seeing it actually in action, but I thankyou for sharing.

Seeing this means I will keep paying for YouTube, despite it always feeling like a huge ripoff. At least they kick back to what I watch at a better clip

I presume it's next September and this is a really early announcement to build the hype train.

I remember looking at 30th anniversary shows that 60s bands would do in the late 90s and marveling at the ticket prices, laughing that our parents were getting gouged like the chumps they are...
If only they knew about dynamic pricing

3. The crane wife - the Decemberists
2. Return to cookie mountain - tv on the radio
1. Hell hath no fury - clipse

Surprisingly good year, though it shows a change in my life - some feel so much newer, some so much older, I was possibly no longer being soundtracked by albums by then

I play songs of both in DJ sets all the time and have done since I got old enough to not just play house.

I prefer Paul's Boutiques songs as they sound better louder.

Both are vital.

Neither of these are records that I will listen to a lot.
Both of them are good!
I'm going to vote for the Cure because of the peak in the middle being so so realised.
I think Trent needed more time to achieve that.
And he absolutely does.
But for this period, the cure reach divinity better.

Whilst I think all Discworld novels that I read in school changed everything for me, small gods made me realise there were others that felt the same about the constructs around me, and absolutely solidified how you can be amazed at the world without needing to pick a side. So grateful.
