I think the only time valve will step in to moderate things is if it like, breaks the law, directly threatens their existence as a company (i.e caving to payment processor demands), or you use an actual slur on a game item or game listing

The lack of moderation on the steam storefront/steam forums makes a lot more sense when you realize that gabe newell is a libertarian and by extension, a lot of valves core ideologies as a company kinda revolve around the "let the people handle it" idea
