I can really empathise with Bridget Bardot here, a lot of women really do not want any part in having kids. No one should be forced to be a mother.

This is my reminder and encouragement to walk more and to talk more. I love hearing people's stories (and meeting awesome dogs) but have been somewhat hampered recently by a low grade anxiety and a bad knee. But I did start small today with a trip to my local library. Will take it from there.

I'd been reading. This same person also told me I was very enthusiastic, not meaning it as a compliment. He was a very strange man who suffered 2nd hand embaressment from any shows of emotion.

Its a toss up between my husband commenting on my stance when walking "you wouldn't stop a pig in a hallway"; or an aquaintance at a party saying "you're a bit of a feminist, aren't you". I only realised this was not a compliment after spending 10 minutes info dumping to him about a book on feminism

Taken in rotation, the pretensions of leaders were watched, proceedings were bassed on the deliberate belief that every man was capable of reason and of a growth in his abilities, and that deference and distinctions of status were an offence to human dignity."

It's not very 'loony left' is it?

Media describes working class politics (eg "the loony left"). For example heres a description of how committees of organisations like Friendly Societies in the 1790s were expected to operate.

"Every citizen on a committee was expected to perform some part, the chairmanship of committees was (2/n)

I'd be up for something like this and would be happy to pay a reasonable price for something from a small creative business. It definitely doesnt have to be the standard advent calendar construction, it could be any shape. Perhaps even a puzzle piece each day, making a completed picture or sculpture

Thank you so much!

This is so wonderfully generous. I would love the Natalie Haynes book if no one else has put themselves forward.

And use that to build a national concensus. Its a start to a long journey away from 'business as usual'. We wont get there straight away, and it will not be perfect but lets make a start

We all appreciate unpolluted green spaces near our homes where we cycle or walk our dogs; we all appreciate air free of large amounts of dust, noise and unpleasant odour when we step out of our front door, enjoy our garden or tend to our window box. Start with that desire at a super local level

To tackle it on multiple fronts and keep working on it every day. There is a desire and willingness from most people and a lot more businesses than you would think to do something to address this issue so dont be fooled by populist headlines. Even if climate change isnt a big priority for someone,

Exporting our pollution, because 'out of sight, out of mind', right? Now with the export costs of Brexit and these other countries becoming more willing to restrict waste shipments from the west, the waste is now being dumped right where we can see it. It is a problem that can be solved but we need
