Don't threaten us with a good time, Daily Express.
Image featuring a graphic from the Bradford District Green Party. The background is green with the Daily Express logo in the upper left and a photo of Zack Polanski speaking into a microphone on the right, holding a cartoon-style bundle of cash with a pound sign. Below, a mocked-up newspaper headline reads: “Zack Polanski wants to redistribute our money and turn Britain into a Left-wing haven.” At the bottom, the Green Party logo and web address Join.greenparty.org.uk are displayed.

Theres some lovely drawings by the author herself and her sense of humour really shines through in her account.

I have just listened to this episode and would love to recommend a 'survival' story featuring a woman. 'A Woman in the Polar Night' was written by the Austrian painter Christiane Ritter and is her account of how she made a life for herself and her husband through the winter of 1933 in the arctic.

I haven't seen a single episode of Game of Thrones, any of the Home Alone films or Footloose.

This is Zeus. He sometimes gets zoomies just like other dogs, but unlike other dogs, he has a pit crew. 13/10 (TT: zeuscampbell)

Me too, as I take in information better in written form. However, some of my friends prefer it due to their needs.

For any legal experts out there, please do correct me, but I understand that, for some offences, they may be able to pursue the former directors of a liquidated company under the Proceeds of Crime Act (POCA) to seize personal assets purchased with money made committing the offence.

On most social media platforms you can opt to mute posts which use certain words or phrases, like 'Ryd*r Cup' so that's an option for social media. On Bluesky, go to settings - moderation - mute words.

What truly matters is: please appreciate that in the Middle Ages scribes recorded a story about a man who could make vaginas talk.

Also putting it out into the world I would also love to be in touch with a musicologist knowledgeable in Native music and/or language, particularly that of the Wompanoag/Algonquian nations of the Northeastern Woodlands

Again, this is for a musical project

Music Bluesky please do your thing!

Putting it out into the world that I would love to be put in touch with a musicologist knowledgeable in 17thc English Music.

I’m doing a project and I’m interested in the relationship the Separatist Puritans had with music, and what music came with them to the American colonies

Thanks!

If you don't feel like yourself today, choose a disguise to wear into the world:
- forlorn tugboat captain
- unemployed rock bassist
- librarian of darkness
- moss witch
- slightly sexy shrub
- large boulder the size of a small boulder

@dj-acid-reflux.bsky.social I found a handy guide to dealing with all the errant sheep you encounter on your walks.

Are your sheep always turning up late for work? Are they taking too long on their lunch break or simply struggling to get through the workload? Are they always just mucking about?

Then you need some
An old book titled Intensive Sheep Management.

You know what autistic people really like? Communicating as clearly as they possibly can only to be wildly misunderstood, read in the worst possible faith and yelled at for something they’re not actually doing. That’s a super fun time for us. Doesn’t trigger any unpleasant traumas at all.
