SHOCKING: F-35 doesn't fall out of the sky all by itself, Saint Nicholas seen fleeing the scene firing off the kind of cheap birthday fireworks that would defeat F-35 heat seeking capabilities

the correct thing to do is to recognize a) you're not dead yet, b) you have many years left, and c) adderall gives the brain exceptional capacities for becoming so powerful that the """purists""" will choke on their words in the end, by the simple power of your cultural relevance

best possible course going forward is to get big into meditation. it's the only reason I'm still around, and to this day I must credit it for taking a drug and bringing it well out of its normal intended role

it's better, but only if you can form a bridge between short-term memory sessions, with or without actively taking it.

it also feels like there's a long-term effect, as I like to take a few days off to be a moron boozehound, that doesn't need state-dependent memory - and indeed survives despite rum
December 1, 2025 at 7:14 AM
oh, that's what I got. I suppose the followup is to say that long-term memory only gets pinged sometimes when you make those memories in the short-term, with adderall

it's always felt to me like holding memory in little virtual boxes improves greatly with adderall but long-term is more hypothetical

still, worth a go if you have health care not staffed by idiots. which, you know, not exactly placing Vegas odds on, but it might cost less than Obvious Company Profiting Off Of America's Broken Therapy & Health Care System

just be clear about the fact that you have trouble with short-term memory

diagnosis is difficult; I got lucky and did it through one of those obviously scam companies (done) and then went over to my VA doctor who was surprisingly happy to transfer it over for the only thing the army was good for, which is prescriptions well below the cost of $170/mo done was charging

my legal counsel has instructed me that it is best to comment "you're so silly for this" under this post

weird thing about being in my late 30s and having both an ADHD diagnosis and dextroamphetamines at a recent late point is that it reinforces how odd my youth was

one of the questions for the prescription was "did you do schoolwork as a child and forget to turn it in" and I had a fantastic gut laugh

better than whatever they're doing with Star Citizen

not sure why they did a free week to let everybody know their input systems are bad and every player hub drops frames like baby's first programming project, but here we are

call me again when I can play as the turtle people. also when it's fixed

Elite: Dangerous does this right by turning the entire hyperspace experience into a nightmare, and having their Gigeresque sapient aliens the only ones who know how to drag a human vessel out of that place above reality

it's also a question of getting console people on Team PC at the correct price point. old lappy died so I am once again on Team Cheap MSI Laptop, and the idea of something that can play most things being more than the $700 I paid for that is bananas, especially given the cost of an xbox series S

making a humble request to have "SHATTY'S NATTIES" on screen at some point when the deeply horrifying time comes to execute on this computer science experiment, please and thank you

the answer is narcissistic comfort, misinterpreted as some sort of grand victory, even though we all know nobody's gonna remember this series of simple patterns after he goes

they'll never understand that the man who feeds the world would be immortal because it's outside a cost/benefit analysis

some dickhead psychologist who missed the memo on their hideous replication crisis: adulthood starts at 30 :)

the wandering spirit of a Victorian child who started mining coal at 12: cool, cool cool cool. still making everybody go to work anyway, though, yeah? still gotta pay bills at 25, huh?

the wording on these is always so stupid. "extraterrestrial life is real, and they are also here, now, either simply monitoring us or actively interfering" is treated identically with "the scope of the cosmos is largely indistinguishable from infinity and the Drake equation is applied to that scale"
November 26, 2025 at 1:18 AM
that's hollywood, pal,

but it's 100% a narcissistic pool of theft so nobody's wrong here, least of all you

sorry, pal. just found out Udo Kier's dead. no energy left to continue this one, gonna go get (more) hammered and watch him be a fat Soviet Romanov's foil in the Red Alert 2 cinematics for the rest of the night

because they live everywhere. that's the thing with interconnected systems

the Blackwall is an AI masquerading as a firewall, constantly trying to halt intrusion. keeping things decentralized makes that being's job easier, but generally it's accepted that it will ultimately be impossible
