Scott: And I don’t think it’s out of the realm of possibility to get to a 10–1 map, in light of the shellacking we just put on the Republicans in Virginia. Abigail Spanberger won by 15 points. We went from a 51–49 majority in the House of Delegates to a 64–36 majority.

We already know the Trump administration has been lying about ICE “targeting the worst of the worst” — the actual numbers tell the truth.

The government’s own data shows only 15 % of those detained had any prior criminal convictions, and just 3 % were violent offenders.

If SCOTUS planned to uphold birthright citizenship, they would’ve left the lower-court rulings untouched. Taking the case is the tell. You don’t grab a 150-year precedent just to admire it. They took it because they intend to change it. Pretending otherwise is denial.

Trump warns of European ‘civilizational erasure’ in realigned national security strategy
The National Security Strategy, which each administration must publish, also said the U.S. should focus on the Western Hemisphere and consider the Middle East a place for investment.

Feeling holiday stress?

A psychologist (and native Dane) shares how Denmark relies on two words to stay grounded: overskud (the energy/space to take something on) and pyt (to let it go).

This season: say no when you lack overskud and say pyt when things don’t go as planned 💛
How to deal with holiday stress, Danish-style
