True Love Birch
Custom birch gifts made from naturally fallen birch harvested in Fairbanks, AK
Beginner watercolor. Supporting the wonderful talent filled Alaskan art scene.
Perpetually in love, wandering soul.
Here’s another “progression”.

I love this one so much. Polar bears put their nose in the air like that to survey their world. They “get big” too and square up their shoulders. For a simple painting I really captured how that first bear looked at me. Unforgettable.
I’ll keep practicing!

In Welsh, birch symbolizes love and protection. These two love birds just bought a house and had a baby.
True Love…oh that birch. Thank you for falling in my yard so that I could make this gift. ❤️

A friend posted her dinner view from Puget Sound last night. I decided to paint it. I really like this one for the deep sunset color and water variations. Was a good lesson!

My first polar bear painting! Looks like a bear. Lessons in “white”. I kinda like her. Not bad for a first try! Inspo pic in comments.

The Palouse Scenic Byway in WA is so bright green and gold right now. Trying different techniques and learning landscape depth and how to draw the eye in here. These are 14”x14”.

Watercolor attempt #3 of my grandparent’s house. Was going for some whimsy, added tulips. My aunt painted the footprints in the 70’s. She is putting them back on this summer! This is my ❤️ place.
