Nope, no bottom - just creamy, crustless :D

Sure, here the one I follow: Mix in order: 570 g cream cheese → 4 eggs (one at a time) → 230 g sugar → 10 g flour → 285 ml cream. Bake 200 °C for ~40 min until golden on top, soft in the centre. Let cool at least 2 h 👌

Here’s our new group photo outside the Dover St Building, @manchester.ac.uk !

A couple of our members (Ethan and Nik) are missing from this one, but it’s great to have most of the team together.

Excited for everything we’ll be working on this year! 🖥️ ⚛️

Perfect way to end the week: 'We are pleased to inform you that your manuscript has been accepted for publication' 🎉 Have a lovely weekend, all! #compchem #AcademicLife

Just found out a manuscript I rejected twice got published… without so much as a heads-up. Not the first time this has happened. Peer review is voluntary and unpaid; the least journals could do is be transparent. Feels like some “big names” get a free pass. So frustrating. #PeerReview #AcademicLife

Summer 2025: beaches, heat, family, friends, wandering around cities, and way too much good food.
But all good things have an end… so next week, back to Manchester 😄

A great day in Burlington House for the OBC Editorial Board meeting yesterday. Wonderful to see so many of the board in person and to talk about the exciting future for the journal!

So true,Carl

It seems almost impossible to get funding nowadays 😭🤦🏽‍♂️
trujillo-group.bsky.social
Thank you, Carl. I guess it's part of this life hehehehehe

Thanks Dave! Yep… perfect timing as always 😅 Already trying to convince myself it’s character building… not quite working yet 😂

See you on Monday!

Nothing like landing back home after a week away at a conference… to find a lovely rejection email waiting for the funding proposal you’ve been sweating over for months.
👏 Bravo. Welcome home. 😂🎉

Amazing week in Oslo for #WATOC2025.

Best part? Catching up with old friends and meeting new people.

I shared one of our latest projects, and Diana, Tim @jamesob2.bsky.social , and @juliak4czm4r3k.bsky.social presented a poster 🥳

Time to go home!

Great day at NSSC 2025 in London. Lovely to catch up with friends, meet new people, and hear some genuinely exciting science. Some good chats about possible collabs too.
Thanks everyone!

First stop on a very full month of scientific travel: heading to London today for the New Starters in Synthesis and Catalysis (NSSC) 2025 meeting.

Looking forward to connecting with early-career researchers in catalysis!

It’s been ages since the Trujillo Group had a proper day out, so it was fab to finally get (almost) all of us together in Hebden Bridge!
We had a lot to celebrate, including birthdays, one of our students finishing his visit, and just the chance to hang out outside the office #CompChem #GroupDayOut

Our Nika Melnyk presented her PhD journey at the Dublin Chemistry 3rd Year Talks 2025 and absolutely nailed it! 💥

“Catalysis of Organic Reactions Through XB-Based Organocatalysis.”

Super proud of her!
