Thank you! She's currently trying to learn Carol of the Bells and some Schumann for a concert in three weeks time. I suspect her fingerings are a little unorthodox, too! I'll watch out to see how much your kid enjoys their first performance.

It is great advice - my kid is lucky to have such a fantastic teacher and to have lots of opportunities to play the piano. Good luck for the recital - it will be so much fun performing together.

My kid has always been told by her music teacher that your audience doesn't notice little mistakes - they remember the overall impression and how the music made them feel. She now finds performing fun, loves to share her music, and doesn't worry when minor things go awry.

Or maybe we could protect them & many other children by putting clean air in schools. And regular Covid vax, where are they this year?
