I have a good friend that lives in Spain who experienced a traumatic home invasion here in Venezuela, and has not visited the country since 1995. He regularly travels to Colombia, though. I was going to show him this chart, but I thought of "one death is a tragedy, a million deaths is a statistic".

If I ever apply again for a USA Visa (there hasn’t been an Embassy here in Venezuela since Trump I), I’ll show them my 2025 playlist. They’ll probably say “yeah, it looks American, but your age (56) doesn’t match. Denied”.

My son presented this week his thesis to opt for a Computer Science bachelor’s degree, at the Metropolitan University in Caracas, Venezuela. His software was developed with Apple’s Swift and was demoed using the Vision Pro. If all goes well, it should be available in the App Store soon #visionpro

At least in my case, if I want to burn as many calories during active exercise as I do the rest of the day, I have to run at least 21.1 km (a half marathon). In other words, eating well and enough sleep is just as important.

Aquí en Venezuela el chavismo se identificó con él, y hasta un parque le dedicaron. Pero como el gobierno hace lo que quiere, la gente no puede protestar que no le hayan dedicado un parque a un deportista local. Perdió muchos admiradores por eso. Fue un crack, eso sí.
