I don’t know that after the last week we can really say we live in a free country anymore. Stop saying only immigrants are being taken by ice. Firstly, it’s false, and they’re killing US citizens. I’m not going to stop calling you out.

We need every mayor, every congressman, every governor, every council, and every person accross the country to use those words and make things clear. Have the courage to tell these shadow police to get the fuck out of your streets. They’re an embarrassment to common decency and morality.
Good, strong message from the mayor. Watching closely to see what he and state officials do beyond the message.

Quick thought - huge sustainable energy movement - it’d help with inflation, inspire change and save the world. What’s more inspiring: Reaching planet mars, or saving our own planet? Which would you work towards if you had the chance?

Anthropological perspective - Gender and sex are two different things. One is biological, the other is cultural.
A federal judge ordered the CDC to restore some pages that the Trump admin deleted. The pages were restored today, but they removed terms like transgender and nonbinary, and pinned this discriminatory note to the top of the pages.
