WarGreymon is not my favorite Digimon. If I'm being honest, he MIGHT squeeze into my top 10, just barely. But when I look at him, I am overwhelmed by the thought "This is the perfect Digimon design." Look at this fucking guy. There's a reason he's the main guy. He's so fucking cool.

any and all flaws i might have been able to pick at w/this game have faded into distant memories. this is all i want out of video games. the ability to ride an 8 foot tall bipedal robot dragon made entirely out of gun's. games have peaked. just cancel the ps6 now, why bother, you ain't topping this.

they could've swept a lot of those under the rug as time progressed, they designed more and more new ones, and stuff like space/hardware limits in games got less restrictive, but no, they're still honestly mostly embraced to this day, like they have a main story boss fight with these guys.

I'd forgotten the full context of this absurd panel full of utter no-name dweeboids, and Fang (under an alias, of course, key for any merc) just popping out to tussle. So funny to have future knowledge and know what happens to all of these guys. Two of them just fucking die.

A good 5 and a half years after the comic launches it sees fit to introduce Sally's brother Elias. You'd think he would be an annoying lame tagalong dweeb but I actually kinda like him on the whole. He gets dragged through some dogwater storytelling but it's never really his fault.

I had honestly forgotten just how clumsily and unceremoniously overlanders were introduced into this comic. They're referenced during Endgame, when going into Robotnik's origins, but I think this is the first time we really get anything else about them, and it's just... sorta thrown together.

Also visor guy is an impostor from the evil technonazi echidna tribe who've been banished to the nightmare dimension for the last 400 years or whatever (but occasionally pop out to have a tussle) and the guy he's impersonating was just sort of hanging out in the woods being depressed for decades

Like I really don't know what to add to this issue, other than to ask, who the fuck are these shitheads and why are we spending multiple pages focused on them? I at least remember Renfield because he showed up fairly early, in the same issue as the Chaotix, but I have ZERO memory of the rabbit guy.

Well. I read the "Charmy's friend dies of an LSD overdose" arc. This is the first thing that happens and the rest of it is the Chaotix busting a narcotics operation. I don't know why he felt the need to introduce "life's tough on the streets" elements to his mysticism and inherited legacy story.
