E reader rev holos, taking ebay photos. My fave rev holos are the mirror holo Japanese ones from HeartGold/SoulSilver era but these are fun too, I like the rainbow.

I gave her some mint stems (Monarda) from trimming the yard. My yard has no pesticides, so bird safe edible plants are part of her toys when the season is right. Her fave is apple tree branches.

Yeah they're so fun to look at! There was a big list of like 100 different ones in the Uji visitor center! I saw a few of them when I was walking around there, but only took a picture of the Pokemon one lol the 1st is Nagoya, then Uji, and of course the final one was in Osaka for the World's Fair.

Speaking of public art. Something striking about the difference in Japan is that I feel like pretty touches were everywhere. These are from Kushiro, a town known for sunsets and cranes. These are four examples of crane designs I saw but I saw dozens. On the bus seat fabric and more.

Finally started The Summer Hikaru Died, pretty damn compelling so far! We saw a little exhibit thing for it in Japan actually in one of the Surugaya's we visited I think? I'm excited to watch the rest.

To share some joy for you, I have the day off, so I started probably my last fire of the year, burning some sandalwood incense, and I'm listening to music while reading Lupin dojinshi and peeping these beautiful sugar maples of fall.
