Well now, would you look at that?

A massive study of NEARLY 300,000 people in the United States found that receiving an updated 2024-2025 mRNA COVID-19 vaccine REDUCED people’s risk of SEVERE disease AND death in ALL age groups, REGARDLESS of immunity from prior infection or vaccination.

The study found that children enrolled in Parton’s Imagination Library “were 5 times more likely to be interested in reading, 11 times more likely to be interested in books, and 15 times more likely to join in during shared reading, compared to children who aren't enrolled.”

reminder the superpower of the protagonist in Everything Everywhere All At Once was defined by how because she tried and failed at literally all her dreams she ended up having the most potential to experience all her dreams by virtue that she attempted at all
Someone i care about told me they felt like a failure because they tried so many things and quit. Trying something out is living, putting it down when you want to is self care; it's HEALTHY. So many people are afraid to even try.

Bragging: I've quit more things than you've ever started

#ShareGoodNews - once primed, our immune systems can remember cancer and fight it again. This makes it all the more important to get as many as possible vaccinated against measles, which can completely wipe our immune system's memory.
Two decades after a small Duke breast cancer vaccine trial, every participant is still alive — a rare outcome for metastatic disease. When researchers looked closer, they found the women’s immune systems still carried “memory” cells that recognised the cancer. buff.ly/MNeRhJh

It truly galls me that this pedophile gets to tell US what's "bad for young people". Fuck Dr Oz and fuck this entire child predator administration. They have done some of the most sick and disgusting things to kids, all we want is for them to have dignity, safety and healthcare.
Public comment on Dr Oz's proposed rules to ban gender-affirming care for youth closes 2/17

One rule bans hospital-based care, the other eliminates Medicaid/CHIP coverage

Together they'd make care virtually unavailable nationwide, including in shield law states

it's really funny how much it's helped me when i start to feel insecure about something to think things like "actually it's character design. it adds visual interest. it's part of my lore."
life pro tip: if you're insecure about a particular physical feature just put it on a furry and then see how you feel about it 👀

To everyone who wants to raise awareness and get people to take action against censorship and bills that take away our rights, I want to say this very emphatically:

Include. Resources.

Because yelling is infinitely more useful when you're also showing people the next steps they can take

Someone has sure already made this observation but the fact they can convert all those empty warehouses into prison camps means they could have converted them into housing, community centers, job training centers or, hell, libraries or schools all along. It’s always a matter of will not resources.
