As the ultimate 💗 letter, my spouse is creating me a tarot deck using characters he created based on us. 🥹 I love them all but this one made me laugh the hardest-the knife taped to a mop handle is an inside joke that I 💯 wasn’t expecting him to incorporate. 😂

Finally received my data download link from FB so I can delete my account for good, 30 gb of data is what they had stored on me. 😳 I’m curious how much of that is photos and how much is creepily accurate data on every message and comment I’ve ever made on the platform?! This creeps me out y’all.

I thought I was tech-savvy, but downloading my IG data to delete my account has me shook. 😳 Just skimming it, I found logs of every comment I’ve made since 2018. I knew META hoarded info, but seeing it all laid out like this hits different. It feels weirdly invasive in a way I wasn’t expecting.

I thought I was tech-savvy, but downloading my IG data to delete my account has me shook. 😳 Just skimming it, I found logs of every comment I’ve made since 2018. I knew META hoarded info, but seeing it all laid out like this hits different. It feels weirdly invasive in a way I wasn’t expecting.
What a nice parting gift from FB! Today I had a random thought to check an OLD email address, and found an e-transfer from the recent class action lawsuit in 🇨🇦. $36.29 in exchange for using my photo and name in advertising without my consent. Looks like I’m getting 🍕 this weekend 😋 (also, f u FB!)

When I was in the single digits my grandmother used to make us "milkshakes." She'd put several heaping spoonfuls of powder into milk, blend it, and give us the frothy result. I realized only a few years ago she that was feeding us instant coffee. That... actually helped explained a lot.

Ember finally learned her lesson why we DON’T jump on top of the hot wood stove today. 😫 Aldous learned that lesson a couple months ago so it was only a matter of time before she learned it, too. She’s ok, beans are pretty singed though. 🥲

I don't really use TikTok that much, but I find it fascinating that our government is on the verge of banning an app for national security reasons that are still unclear in the same week that Meta, the largest social media company, says it's now fine to hate LGBTQ people and call us mentally ill.

I didn’t know I was neurodivergent when I started my online community. I was buried in a mask, trying to be who I thought others wanted me to be. A lifetime of being bullied for being 'weird' will do that.

Everyone always talks about how relieved they were when they got their late in life ADHD diagnosis, but the main thing I felt was PISSED OFF. You’re telling me I struggled my whole life when it was really just as simple as taking medication to help my brain actually function? THIS WHOLE TIME?! 🤬

My partner informed me that when I have a rare in-office day that my cat sits and howls at the door. You’re telling me THIS sweet critter has separation anxiety?! 👀😅 I have created a monster by working from home.
