It’s weirdly the same ethos as people trying to make AI happen. At some point, rich people figured out it was more cost effective to convince their customers to buy shit, rather than try and make stuff that’s worth buying, and capitalism reached its true form.

it also sucks because like the entire history of Black people and marginalized people in this country is voting for the lesser evil and sometimes it feels like the only thing we have to show for it is Juneteenth being a national holiday.

But like... my TV is 65". The bathroom is right there. My kitchen doesn't charge me $25 for 32oz of anything and a bucket of deep fried seeds. I don't need to hire an off duty cop in case one of my family members gets too into a Detective Comics character. Plus, all the animals are allowed here.
