Let me add,Trump is nothing more than the dim-witted mascot for Project 2025/Mandate For Leadership a coalition of holy rollers, billionaires, racists… and Russia, while he fumbles through reality-TV presidency like it’s Kardashians: Washington Edition.

Has anyone ever thought about people being sickos regardless of whom they voted for? If we can't agree that what happened is bad, regardless of political affiliation, we're lost as a nation. Whataboutism shouldn't excuse the most horrendous behaviors, even if it has worked in politics for decades.

NEWS: A Democratic candidate calling a subset of Republicans “deplorable” nine years ago.

NOT NEWS: A sitting Republican president confessing that he “hates” Democrats, posting AI-generated fantasies about sh*tting on them, and telling generals that they are “no different than a foreign enemy.”
Also, it may seem like a small thing, but by my count this is the third Ezra Klein show that highlights Hillary Clinton’s “deplorables” comment. To be fair, it is the guest who brings it up. But it is important in highlighting what I see as the double standard by which the parties are assessed.

Whataboutism: Finding an example of an a**hole to justify being an a**hole. In politics, these candidates run on not being the same a**hole as the current office holder. Once elected, they act like an a**hole, applying whataboutism. I.e. where is Jim Jordan's crusade against DOJ weaponization?

So, let's check this out. Trump sues the DOJ for any sort of money and signs off on the payout. How is this not a king? He found a way to literally pocket tax dollars with impunity.

AI is making coding a lot more efficient and also invites a lot of folks without much background in it. Time to focus on design patterns.
