These things are made by people who have actual preoccupations. And if you don't know about the specifics of unfortunate cases (good, privacy is a thing),

then you should at least consider that the most common reason to work under pseudonyms is contract reasons. Sometimes they're widely known & hiding nothing, but even then, the reasoning is professional - the fact that working in anime is a JOB is something these people also don't really understand
