merry birthing, eat a cake!!!

Still absolutely picking up the full game and will likely end up putting at least a few dozen hours in, if not more!
Definitely not a substitute for MvC, but just a fun new tag game in the ranks. Happy I got a first taste of the game to help manage expectations.

I'm not sure how I feel about most of the universal mechanics in the game. Tag stuff in neutral is cool, but defensive options feel lacking or extremely one-note.
I feel like I vibe a lot more with some of the characters' unique gameplay rather than what the game's universal systems allow for.

I really dig Storm and Cap's projectile manipulation shenanigans, I hope future characters also feature a similar level of flexibility instead of just more been-there-done-that situations.

I also really like this iteration of Ghost Rider, kinda makes me wanna check out the Robbie Reyes comics too..
