Tempted to say that Isaac is the reason why you have to arbitrarily hunt for three golden keys to escape Count Batula's Manor in CBFD just because I like the idea of having an OC assigned to what is commonly referred to as The Worst Part of The Game.

Still salty that, beyond sparse New Donk cameos, NONE of the unique races/places from Odyssey seemed to show up again. We should've seen Shiverians, Volbonans, etc. in party, sport, RPG, & kart games the same way Sunshine flavored the GameCube era.

I have no stake in the Metroid series but I will admit that holding off on revealing that they added a bunch of quipping Marvel movie NPCs that follow Samus around and say "Well THAT just happened!" until the very last stretch before release is really, really funny.
