Me hitting High Jump a gcd earlier on my opener so i can barely get a mirage dive off before the transition 3 minutes into m10s

And even THEN, a lot of the optimization is just like, press this one GCD earlier so you can use it one more time before downtime, or remember to hold 50 gauge for this, or hold a gap closer for that, or press this gcd exactly when the fight ends for extra 300 DPS. And I freaking love it lmao

The reality is most jobs in XIV work well enough if you press everything on cd after the opener (or the spicy press it once during 1mins and twice during 2mins) and you don't really need a ton beyond that except for really intricate optimization.

Last year should've been our year but alas

it's very chaotic and kind of unbalanced (every water mechanic is easier than every fire mechanic) but it's so satisfying to get everything right
